“Why don’t you ask the librarian?” she asked me.
“Because you know what that is like,” I complained in a half-whisper. “I don’t feel like listening to a reenactment of his life.”
“C’mon, it’s sweet,” she told me as she scanned the bookshelves. “I know I saw the book here...I just don’t want to waste my whole day looking for it only to find out it has been taken out.”

Hi, my name is Matthew Dewey and I am the writer behind the Penned sleuth. I started the Penned Sleuth website as my own personal blog to write stories and sell my books. Eventually, it turned into an ambition to write a story every single day. A morning habit of sitting in front of the computer and writing a thousand word story about something that just popped into my head and rolling with it till the end and for whatever possible reason I missed a day, I would write two the next day to catch up. There would be no way I would give a story a skip.

How certain snake bites would be the death of you in seconds or insects that would lay eggs beneath your skin and you would never notice until they started hatching. However, after a week in the jungle and nearing civilisation, I have yet to experience any such horror.”
